COMPANY QUALITY POLICY
The market for weighing instruments, both nationally and internationally, is constantly changing mainly due, on the one hand, to the greater qualification and awareness of users, and on the other, to the continuous advancement of technology that enables new objectives that were unthinkable just a few years ago. On the other hand, these same technological advances make it possible to open new markets in countries considered as distant while they can compete on reasonable terms in our traditional markets.
Grupo Epelsa has understood the message and for this very reason believes that the adaptation of the products manufactured to the needs of the client through the company's design capacity forms one of the main pillars on which G. Epelsa is based.
The mere adaptation of the products to the needs of the client is a necessary condition, but not sufficient, since, in addition to having the ability to satisfy the needs of the client, it must be done at the right time and at a reasonable price, that is, with the quality of product and adequate service, understanding quality as "the aptitude to satisfy the needs of customers".
The adequacy of products to the needs of customers, even if these needs are met at the right time, does not cease to have two points of view. The first by the Company itself and the second, and much more important, from the point of view of the customers. Grupo Epelsa understands the difference well and therefore has established mechanisms to know and measure the degree of satisfaction of our customers, in order to preserve, on the one hand, those who already are and to increase their number, on the other, and this through strict compliance with customer requirements and through the correction and continuous improvement of the operation of the Factory.
On the other hand, in order to access international markets, in general, and European, in particular, it is necessary to strictly comply with the local or general regulations of each country established in regulations or Directives (harmonized by the corresponding standards). Grupo Epelsa, within its strategic plan, establishes operating within the legal frameworks and complying with all those directives and regulations that are applicable in each case. It is also committed to maintaining a quality system and establishing an organizational context based on the ISO 9001:2015 standard.
Grupo Epelsa understands as "company" that "group of organized people capable of solving the needs of customers". This group of people systematically seek in their daily work a job well done and constant improvement. Quality and human resources together form a whole and constitute the most important asset to compete and adapt to the changing needs of the market, also providing positive values to the society in which we live, which represents our best guarantee of the future.
The Company's Quality Policy is reviewed annually at the "Management Management Review" meeting, as set out in Procedure No. 01.
For all the above, Grupo Epelsa establishes in its annex 4 of this Quality Manual a series of objectives together with a metric that allows periodic evaluation of the degree of systematic improvement obtained through the adoption of new objectives and thanks to the improvement actions adopted.
